Natacha Atlas' Albums
Natacha Atlas is a Belgian singer. Her music is very eclectic, but she is known mostly for her fusion of Western electronic music with Arabic music. She began her career with Transglobal Underground. Natacha Atlas's discography is comprised of nine albums produced in the studio, two compilation albums, 17 singles and one video album. In 1995, she released her first solo album, Diaspora. In 1997, she released her second album, Halim. Her third album was released in 1999 and was titled Gedida. Ayeshtini was released as her fourth album in 2001. From 2002 to 2003, Atlas released two albums: Foretold in the Language of Dreams and Something Dangerous. She took a three year hiatus before releasing Mish Maoul, her seventh album. In 2008, Atlas released Ana Hina. Her most recent album was released in 2010, titled Mounqaliba.
Chart position of the albums
In the United Kingdom, three of Natacha Atlas's albums reached the top-200 on the charts: Diaspora (123), Halim (128) and Ayeshteni (141). In France, her albums were even more popular, where three of her albums reached the top-100: Gedida (19), Ayeshtini (36) and Something Dangerous (98). One other album was in the top-200 in France: Ana Hina (162). In the United States, two of her albums, Mish Maoul and Something Dangerous, finished in the top-15.
