Natacha Atlas

Singing to the maximum capacity of one's lungs is not always easy, but Natacha Atlas sure makes it look that way through her talent and experience. She produces electronic Arabic and Western music, fusing them into a sound which has benefited both sides for quite some time.

Born in 1964, Natacha Atlas is a Belgian artist with quite a few tricks up her sleeves. She was influenced by the genres of reggae, hip hop and deep electronic melodies that grew popular in the mid-1990s. She has collaborated with a plethora of famous international artists. As it stands right now, Natacha has nine albums under her discography.

Although previously declaring herself of Muslim faith, Natacha Atlas has tried not to let religion play a key role with her work. Because of her infusion of Arabic and European melodies, many of her fans have the right impression when they consider her a remarkably intelligent woman. As she says herself, there are two sides of her being which promote raw genius. When both are on stage, everyone can benefit.
